Whooooooo.. It’s Monday. Again. How weird is that?

You know I try to keep up a semi-decent updating schedule, but damn, sometimes there really isn’t much to write other than:

Business as usual.

Which is pretty much what’s going on. Everything’s pretty decent overall. Mommaz Day was nice and productive, and so I’m pretty sure I’m still in the will.

Other than that.. Well.. as far as Steampunk is concerned I’m beginning to realize that what I really want to do is a wide overhaul of the whole thing.

Now this isn’t necessarily a BAD thing. I think I did a good job (most of the time) with setting things up, but I made mistakes here and there because I couldn’t forsee clearly how some of my early decisions would ultimately pan out. So now some of my early decisions are making it harder to do what I want.

So what I’m thinking I’m going to do is rather than just patch over the mistakes, I’ll just take everything down to it’s foundations and start again. This seems like a lot of work (and it is..) but there’s a lot of what I had that I can keep and bring over to the new version. but the same token there’s a lot I can add and tweak to make things better too. In all, since I’ve already done it once, rebuilding things should be pretty quick. In a lot of cases I’ll just be modifying or editing the original files.

So anyway. This affects practically nothing at the moment. The current system will stay active till the new one is completed and takes over. But I’m actually really excited about some of the new things I can add with the new system.  The redevelopment will happen in tandem to the ground vehicle rules, so these will both be introduced at the same time.

Soooooo that’s the plan for the immediate future, yep.
