Yes. I’m writing a post to explain that there is nothing to post.



Well.. Actually there is, but everything I’ve been working on stands pretty unfinished at the moment. so.. It’s hard to share it at it’s current stage. but PROGRESS is being made.  The wheels of INDUSTRY are turning. I have been DRAWING things and putting COLOR in them in order to make them PLEASING.

So yeah.. I’ll get back to y’all on that. Don’t give up on me yet…

Yeah! Perhaps even HELL YEAH!!!

Wow so remember a few weeks ago when I said something along the lines of:


Yeah, that’s happening again. But let me tell ya what’s going on.
SA has ended, and with a little help from my playtesters it looks like SP! will soon be running again. Except that before that happens I’ve decided to try and implement some of the changes and additions I’ve been noodling. Of course I thought I could complete that pretty quickly, and of course I was wrong because I ALWAYS AM when it comes to estimating how much time things will take. But anyway, progress is being made and the updated system should be both a little better and way more expanded.. I’ll get into the details later I guess.

So in the meantime, sorry for the lack of updates, I’m doin’ stuff, I’m just not writing about it. =P

But I will soon.

EXTRA AWESOME music to make up for shortie post.

Weeeelll.. Looks like the Current SA Mission may be wrapped up by the end of the week, possibility.. It’s been a long one, but pretty useful in terms of testing all the different components of how the air and ground systems work together. I finally got to test some of the things I wrote in, and by and large I think everything worked okay. So Hooray! ..Other than that there really isn’t too much going on, it’s pretty quiet around the homestead, by and large. Which is nice, hopefully I can get a lot of work done…

Anyway have this sketch. It’s the first time i’ve done on-paper shading for a loooonnnngggg time. This character belongs to a embryonic writing project of mine. She tends to express displeasure by melting people’s faces off, as demonstrated in the picture. She spends a lot of time being displeased, but mostly people deserve it.

Minecraft Industrial Light and Pest Control

Well it’s a friday so I expect to be pretty busy, but real quick here are some updates regarding the minecraft server starter area. I did get everything working and fiddled around with it a bit last night.. But overall the amount of fiddling that needs to be done is pretty minor. Mostly I need to do some touchups on the outer walls and work on making the interior area of the town spawn-safe. It’s pretty safe overall, but there are still some dark places at night where mobs will spawn. Each night I narrow it down by a few spots as I stake the dark bits with lights.. One of the more challenging parts to this is finding a way to add torches as unobtrusively as possible. I don’t want to just dump torches everywhere, I like to try to make it look like they belong where they are.

As part of mobsafeing the town I’ve basically built a retaining wall around the entire thing. You san see part of it in the pictures below. iI actually don’t mind if there are a few mobs that pop up on the middle of the city at night from time to time, I actually sort of want it to be a little risky to go outside in the SPOOOKY DARK OF NIGHT. I just don’t want the town swarmed and exploded by creepers.

This is a new addition to the port area (you can see the warehouse behind it) a large cargo ship (about twice the size of the other ship) I had a lot of fun working on this, though it needs a little interior finishing still. I also made a warship version which may play a role later…

this is a frontal view of the manor / fortress that looks over the town and houses it’s Great Library. (which could be seen in the last MC update) In the background you can see some recent renovations made to the hill in the background. I added a LOT more springs to the hillside and some catchbasins/aqueducts. That particular mountain and the water that comes from it will play a part in the first few adventures I plan to host, so I decided to play up it’s presence a little. (Also it game me structures to put torches on to illuminate the hillside. >.> )

So yep. Things are trucking along, and the progress, she is being made.
