Urgh… A rough last few days. But hey, still trucking.
Work continues on Springport! Actually I think the end is pretty much in sight, I can only think of 3 or 4 more things that need adding and a few other things that need finishing and I’ll be able to call it good.
AAAAaaannyway, I guess let’s look at what’s new:

This is the town’s main gate, (complete with festive red block-flag). The path on the left is the ‘main’ gate and the right is sort of the back door. I’ve been considered adding some defensive systems, maybe something akin to boiling oil, (but with lava!) but for now I think it’s fine just as it is.. Here’s the view from the air.

Aaand here’s part of the update ‘downtown’ section, now showing the general goods shop (wooden roof, foreground) and a public worship and forge in the back (brick and stone buildings, respectively.) The bright-colored thing on the right is the tailor’s shop. It’s uh.. It’s pretty festive… The amusing thing about the tailor’s shop is it will actually have a purpose, at least if I can get things off the ground like I’d like. Basically you’ll be able to buy custom skins there as ‘outfits’.

Every town needs an inn, and so here is Springport’s. Somehow I’m not quite satisfied with the exterior, I think I’ll probably play around with it some more.

Aaaaand on the inside, second floor.

Every town needs a graveyard, too! Ooh.. What is that mysterious door at the end of the path? Who could live there? As a side note, this is where the players’ respawn will be set. So if you die in the game you’ll respawn at the graveyard, just like wow. =P Except first you rez, THEN you corpserun. Oh and I’m accepting suggestions for names on headstones BTW…
This is the north end of town, and an area I’ve established for player housing; you can see i’ve marked out the lots with lines.
Sooo yeah! We’re getting close to a finished product I think, and soon I’ll be scouting around for players and of course GMs.

Heya! It is Gerudoku and it can be found here:

Be aware you will probably have to fiddle with your .jar to get it to work. (There are instructions though) but I agree it is a brilliant pack. 🙂

Hey new minecrafter! *hi five* Thanks for the kind words. 🙂 If you like the map keep an eye on this blog, I guess. I’ll be handing out an IP for some multiplayer minecraft RP goodness at some point.
