Ch-Ch-Changes…

Holy god! An update that’s mostly on time! And WoW related! EEEeeee!!

Yeah.

Well, as some of you are aware, I moved my Roguelet over to my horde server. Which of course meant I needed a race change.

After a bit of deliberation I settled on an Orc… Female.

Le gasp!

I went Orc because of the Racial. (Another AP proc on top of the 7 I already have  >:3  ) …And female because I just hate the way the Orc guys look.  At least for a Rogue-y character. I could see myself having like a Warrior or DK or something.

Sooo yesterday I went raiding on Corvy for the first time on the new server, after.. eh.. A good few months of inactivity,  more or less. Sadly I was unimpressed with the results, so it looks like I’ll be going back to theorycrafting and RAWR-ing for a while till things pick up to my satisfaction again. I am still carting around a 232 offhand (232 weapons are my waterloo, apparently) and I’m a bit behind the gear curve since I haven’t been picking up daily frost badges in months. But mleh. I’m still 5.5kGS’d, and I want better numbers out of myself. So like I said, back to theorycrafting and decimal-watching.

I was saying last night, I’m glad the stats are being simplified in Cata. If only because I think the game should be more about in-fight performance rather than working a spreadsheet to achieve optimal DPS.

I can understand why some people enjoy that aspect, but for me it’s a necessary evil. Something I don’t like to do (at all) but put up with because I have to in order to perform up to my toon’s capabilities.

If the Cata changes make it as simple as “You’re a rogue, socket AGI unless you need hit.” I’m perfectly fine with that. I won’t miss the decimal-fingering at all, I play (and pay) to stab digital things in their digital faces, not fuck around in a spreadsheet. People pay ME to do that, it’s not shit I do for fun.

Aaanyway.

…Man I forgot what I was talking about.

…So yeah…

What I need to do is ROGUE HARDER.

I just gotta figure out how.

In any case, I made a sketchy of Corvy in her new configuration, including a small inside joke.
